Small changes today can make a big difference tomorrow, Peace silk is the perfect example in this case. When we started our journey we took the offbeat routes and decided to not follow the ancient method of making silk by boiling the cocoons alive, instead we invest in organic silk that is created by allowing the silk moth to first fly away and then using the cocoons. In return, silk moths helped to restore biodiversity and made the soil fertile.

After 8 years of cruelty-free manufacturing, the soil became fertile enough to harvest rice which was once thought to be impossible. Yes, this is true and happened in Jharkhand, India.

Let’s be real, there is a lot of plastic that is dumped into our oceans, landfills and on our streets. No matter how hard we try plastic is not going away for another thousand years because of it’s composition and the infrastructure that exists.
We firmly believe that nature and modern human life can co-exist therefore we take the route that  turns this waste into useful materials, by doing so we invest in ocean cleanups, reducing pollution and better recycling technologies as well as limit the oil drilling for manufacturing new synthetics like virgin polyester, nylon and acrylic.

Seasons are meant to change and our needs have to adapt as per the nature. That’s what makes human life so exciting, but our needs should not play with the natural ecosystem around us.

For those cold months Wool is the best material, period! It is warm, natural, long lasting, odourless, biodegradable, recyclable, fast drying, and the list is endless. The key thing here is that producing virgin wool has a huge impact on our environment therefore we invest only in recycled wool to keep the already produced wool in the loop.
