Inlay Marble Accessories
kuku wearable art | Art of Pacchikari
Our iconic inlay accessories feature Kuku, The Carolina Parakeet bird which is now extinct due to excessive hunting. Its beautiful colorful feathers were used to make hats. Kuku’s engraving on this wearable art is a reminder to love our biodiversity and let this not happen to another co-resident of our planet.
We lovingly crafted inlay of a bird made with mother of pearl set in Black marble from industrial waste.
Our accessories are handmade in The City of Taj Mahal Agra, India. The unique art of Pacchikari or marble inlay.
With our wearable art accessories, we aim to preserve and modernise the art, generate employment in the poor community, and remembering our extinct animals.

We use Cupro because it is biodegradable and is a product of waste turned into a resource.
Organic Peace Silk
Non-violent silk, Ahimsa Silk or Peace Silk, is produced from cocoons without killing the pupae inside or without sacrificing animal life. Cocoons are all allowed to hatch and breed, and the silk is processed from the hatched cocoons. In some cases, the cocoons can be pierced or cut open and the butterfly tipped out.
Our Organic Peace silk is GOTS, OneCert International organic standard certified. Our silk is sourced from India where our supplier has been able to successfully bring back biodiversity using organic sericulture practices.
We use Organic Peace silk because it is cruelty-free, restores biodiversity, generates employment in a very poor community and encourages organic practices.
